I am on the airplane to help volunteer for Habitat for Humanity in Lacoochee, Florida. I just finished donating 100 hours, and Wolverine gave me a free pair of Wolverine DuraShocks® Waterproof Insulated Steel-Toe Electrical Hazard 6" Boot. I am excited to test them out during this trip. Because I am the first to receive the boots, Wolverine has sponsored my Blog! I was told that this little city is near Dade City, FL, which is on the west side of Florida. Lacoochee is a very poor area – they lack many paved roads, do not have any street lights, and have not installed a sewer system. We are planning on bringing in basic infrastructure, new construction, and home rehabilitation to Lacoochee. I’m excited to start creating a brighter future for this little town!
