It’s Day 3 and we just finished our first workday. I helped out with rehabilitating homes in Lacoochee. I was assigned to tear down the walls that were infected with mold. We brought in new wood, built the new wall frame, and put dry wall on it. I have to say, after all that work, the Dri-lex lining kept my feet dry from sweat. The summers get to be in the upper 90’s here, and today was 97 degrees. Some of the other volunteers complained about nails stuck in their boots, but mine remain nail-free! I’m so glad Wolverine has partnered with Habitat for Humanity.
